Man sustains broken leg after falling

Ambulance officers attend to a man who sustained a serious injury outside Rebel Sport, Dunedin, after a fall yesterday.

A St John spokesman said it was alerted to the incident in Crawford St, about 10.38am yesterday.

A police spokesman said it was believed "a person had slipped and broken their leg".

The man was transported to Dunedin Hospital in a serious condition.
