A man was taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike by a car in Dunedin this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said the man, approximately 30 years old, was riding his bike near the intersection of Wharf and Kitchener Sts when he was hit by a car.
He was taken to hospital with leg and hand injuries.
Ambulance called police just after 1pm to assist with traffic control, she said.
Police were speaking to the driver of a red hatchback about 1.30pm.
