Battered or crumbed?

The weather played its part on Saturday as dozens of pleasure craft headed out to sea with high hopes of catching a tub of blue cod.

Fishing out wide and over 100m deep in the canyons where large blue cod thrive frustrated the anglers as the
fish refused to bite.

However, those trying their luck closer to  shore had some success.

St Clair and Saddle Hill can be seen behind these boats, which are fishing off Cape Saunders.
