Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene after a pedestrian was hit in the early hours of the morning yesterday.
The man was hit about 1am on Hillside Rd.
A St John spokesperson said the man was taken to hospital in a moderate condition.
A spokeswoman said police were searching for the driver of a dark blue vehicle.
An earlier comment by Police incorrectly stated the man was uninjured.
