A man is to appear in court on a charge of aggravated burglary, following an alleged home invasion.Police were called to a Brockville on Wednesday night following reports a man armed with a sawn-off firearm and entered a property demanding cash and drugs, Senior Sergeant Phil McDouall, of Dunedin, said.
The offender was later located, but no weapon was found.
Police later found the firearm and other items on Taieri Rd, and the offender was arrested yesterday afternoon.
More charges were likely, he said.
He is expected to appear in court today.
