Honour Thompson (18 months), held by her mother Maia Smith, of Dunedin, attended the Countdown Kids Hospital Appeal presentation to Dunedin Hospital staff yesterday at Countdown Central in Dunedin.
Also pictured are (from left) kids appeal area champion Pam Cookson, of Mosgiel, paediatrician Dr David Barker and Countdown South Island operations manager Joanne McNaught.
Countdown staff raised $85,787 in this year's appeal.
It will be used to purchase equipment such as observation monitors in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Honour was born in July last year at just 24 weeks' gestation and spent time in the unit.
