Two Dunedin homes were broken in to and had items taken from vehicles earlier this week.
In both cases, one in Mornington and the other in Appold St, only small value items were taken.
Senior Sergeant Trevor Thomson, of Dunedin, said at the Mornington property a small amount of coins were taken and at the other about 10 CDs were stolen.
Both incidents happened on Monday night and early Tuesday, Snr Sgt Thomson said.
At the weekend in Owaka a shed in Main Rd was broken into a two laptop computers were stolen.
