Library mural depicts Blueskin Bay

Waitati artist Phillipa Crofskey shows off her mural, which was put on display in the children's section of the Blueskin Bay Library on Saturday.

The library displays several pieces of art by local artists and Ms Crofskey's mural was the latest to take the mantle.

She created the artwork to depict Blueskin Bay and feature animals from the area.

Schoolchildren also contributed to Ms Crofskey's mural by painting some of the animals, which included bees, a baby tuatara and a Tyrannosaurus rex.
