Motorists have been warned to expect delays after a crash on Dunedin's Northern Motorway closed the southbound lane.
A police spokeswoman said a vehicle had crashed about 2.45pm, near Pigeon Flat Rd.
It appeared one passenger was out of the vehicle and not injured, but the southbound lane was blocked.
Motorists were advised to hold off travelling for now, or to expect delays to their journey.
