The Dunedin City Council is seeking ideas on how to develop reserve land in Mosgiel.
Council parks and recreation planning manager Jendi Paterson said nearly $39,000 was set aside to develop a reserve near the Silver Springs subdivision in Silver Springs Blvd and nearly $200,000 for a reserve near Highland Park subdivision in Hagart-Alexander Dr.
The reserves could become playgrounds, nature appreciation areas or set up for sports and games, or a mix of the options, she said.
A public workshop would be held in the Downes Room at Mosgiel Public Library at 7pm tonight.
Submissions are open until October 9 and forms are available from the Mosgiel Library or by visiting www.dunedin.govt.nz/consultation
