Keen Dunedin Santas brave a blustery evening to raise money for a good cause.

The Dunedin leg of the nationwide Great NZ Santa Run/Walk was held at John Wilson Ocean Dr in St Kilda last night.

Each adult entrant pays a fee which goes to the Graeme Dingle Foundation, a charity focused on child and youth development. Each adult received a complimentary Santa suit.

Event manager David Crewe said almost 100 Santas showed up, enjoying a tailwind on their way up the road, and doing well to brave a strong headwind on the way back.
