Cr Kate Wilson and Dunedin resident Graham Smith discuss  the Dunedin City Council’s draft 10-year plan during a talk with councillors at Toitu Otago Settlers Museum yesterday.

Mr Smith raised a number of questions with Cr Wilson on the council’s plans for road safety, investing in the city and the proposed city to harbour cycling and walking bridge.

He also had a few suggestions of his own to pass on to councillors.

Submissions on the council’s $850 million budget proposal close at noon on Monday and as of yesterday  afternoon 1722 had been received.

Hearings on the plan were held last week, but due to the number of request for extra sessions, two more will be held on April 26 and May 1.
