Bridgman Street Panelbeaters Ltd commercial manager Jarrod Hodson leads the way as the South Dunedin auto body shop joins the Dunedin City Council’s campaign to reverse cuts to the new Dunedin hospital. Mr Hodson, who is also a West Harbour Community Board member, said the business hoped others would join the campaign.

"I can see it’s gaining momentum every day," Mr Hodson said.

"I talk about it everywhere."

He said "99%" of those he spoke with backed the campaign to call on the Government to reverse cuts to the hospital design and deliver the full suite of services and facilities as signed off by the Cabinet in the approved business case.

Meanwhile, by yesterday afternoon about 11,000 people had signed a New Zealand Nurses Organisation petition calling on the Government to reverse the cuts.
