People will be able to view the models and leave their thoughts on the proposal.
The exhibition will be open through the summer holiday period.
The special display, created via a 3-D printer, outlines the proposal for the redevelopment of the Steamer Basin over the next 30 years.
Dunedin City Council community and planning manager Nicola Pinfold encouraged people to have a look at the models so they could better understand what the concept might look like.
A video of the proposal can be viewed at the Gighub in the Dunedin City Library from today.
