Stalls were set up selling products including a wide range of food.
Principal Nigel Wilson said the enterprise day carnival had involved "a tremendous effort" and had been very successful.
The $1561 raised will be used to provide educational materials to help the Source of Hope School, a small school near Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince.
Through activities including the Haitian-style carnival, Kaikorai pupils had learned more about Haitian culture and the human impact of earthquakes, he said.
Last year, the school raised $450 to buy a cow for a Samoan family affected by a tsunami in late September.
