Dunedin City Council acting aquatics manager Chris Bisley said the city had enjoyed another great season of swimming at the pool, with more than 40,000 people going through the gates, "a slight increase on the same period last year".
"We’ve been helped by some great weather and bumper days, as well as having fewer issues with sea swells and significant adverse weather affecting the pool’s operation, which is great."
Yesterday was the last day of the season, "but we’re already looking forward to opening again in October", he said.
