The 2007 Otago Daily Times Aria winner leaves for London this month to pursue her dream of a professional opera career.
"The support from everyone has been absolutely amazing and it's going to be a great concert. It will have a cast of thousands - like the opera Aida," she said.
Barton (30) will start year-long postgraduate artist diploma studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, in Greenwich, London, next month.
The concert will feature 200 artists performing a wide variety of music. It starts at 8pm on Saturday at the Dunedin Town Hall.
