'Drivesouth' and 'Best Motorbuys' join forces

DriveSouth has expanded its South Island online coverage with a Christchurch launch held in conjunction with Best Motorbuys magazine.

The Allied Press-owned website officially joined forces with the Canterbury-wide weekly vehicle sales publication at a function attended by Christchurch car dealers on Wednesday night.

Mainland Press managing director Pier Smulders said he was delighted to be celebrating the Best Motorbuys magazine's first birthday by establishing Drivesouth in Christchurch.

"In the same way we have brought quality and value to the print market . . . we plan to replicate this in the online market and provide a new option for motor vehicle dealers in Christchurch.

"We believe that our combined online and print offering is a powerful tool to help our advertisers reach their customers."

Allied Press marketing co-ordinator Steve Ramsay said the company was thrilled with its partnership with Best Motorbuys.

"It proves our commitment to provide South Island motoring information to South Islanders."
