Some areas throughout the South Island will have deliveries of the Otago Daily Times delayed due to snow and ice.
Due to adverse weather conditions and road closures, many of today's Otago Daily Times deliveries will be made later than usual.
SH1 north of Dunedin is closed until further notice. One delivery truck with Christchurch papers got through, while the 2nd truck 15 minutes later was stopped.
Therefore papers for north of Dunedin (Oamaru, Timaru, Waimate) are delayed and will be delivered as soon as it is possible (expected after 1.30pm Oamaru North).
Arrowtown papers due to conditions will be delivered in the afternoon.
Due to road closure, Oturehua can not be accessed.
Heavy snow into Central may also cause possible delays.
There is an expected delay in getting to Queenstown as some areas may not be accessible.
Macandrew Bay and Portobello in Dunedin will also have a delayed delivery
