A female cyclist has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car at a roundabout in Green Island this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Westland St and Main South Rd near Super Liquor just after noon.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said the 57-year-old woman was taken to hospital with moderate injuries about 12.30pm.
The woman was riding a black Specialized road bike.
Fulton Hogan road workers assisted her before emergency services arrived.
A witness said there was blood from an injury on her face, but she had managed to roll herself over and appeared conscious.
A sedan had mounted the roundabout and police were interviewing witnesses at the scene.
The road is open.
