Punch breaks glasses in alleged Dunedin road rage incident

A 35-year-old Dunedin man was arrested after allegedly punching a pedestrian in the face, breaking their glasses, in a road rage incident at the weekend.

Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said the incident happened on Saturday in Pine Hill when the man was trying to park his car.

He was arrested by police early this morning.

The man was due to appear in the Dunedin District Court on charges of assault and wilful damage.
