A woman who decided to visit the Dunedin Police Station while in possession of cannabis has been arrested.

The 20-year-old woman arrived at the station at 4.50am to ask why police were looking for her, Sergeant Anthony Bond said.

She was arrested for breaching her bail conditions, as she had a 10pm-8am curfew.

She was also found to be in possession of 1.5 grams of cannabis.

She was given a warning for the cannabis and was due to appear in court this morning for breaching her bail.
