Crash on Northern Motorway

One person was trapped in their vehicle after a two-car crash on the Northern Motorway, about 10km from Dunedin, this afternoon.

Emergency services were advised of the collision about 1pm, and remain at the scene.

Senior Sergeant Kelvin Lloyd, of Dunedin, said emergency services are extracting one person with serious injuries from a vehicle.

The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
