Probus Club members David Tucker (left), of the Dunedin West club, and Stu Campion, of the Mornington club, at Probus Day yesterday, as part of the Dunedin Rotary Club 90th anniversary celebrations in the Dunedin Community Gallery.

Probus was founded by Rotary International and established in New Zealand in 1974 to promote fun, fellowship and friendship among ''active retirees''.

''Since then, we've outgrown Rotary. They've got seven clubs in Dunedin and we've got 23,'' Mr Tucker said.

The Dunedin West Probus Club Trio performed a lunchtime concert yesterday. The Rotary 90th anniversary celebrations continue in the community gallery today.
