f you have ever dreamed of running away to join the circus, a good place to learn some tips from the best will be Sammy's Entertainment Venue tomorrow night.

In conjunction with a four-day circus and music event, Circulation Festival being held at Whare Flat, a show will be staged in Dunedin at 7pm.

Assistant event manager Logan Elliott said the show would feature more than a dozen Australian and New Zealand circus performers in a "bedazzling and sometimes bepuzzling" family-friendly experience.

The show, hosted by the "funniest guy alive", would have everything from acrobatics to fire performance, juggling to unicycling.

The festival starts at 2pm today, running until noon on Monday with workshops, music and food on offer.

Mr Elliott said circus instructors would teach beginners and the more experienced the intricacies of poi, belly dancing and clowning.
