The carnival is just two months away, with new chocolate-themed activities planned alongside old favourites.
The carnival programme was announced at an event at the Camp Estate yesterday.
The carnival, from July 23 to 29, will include everything from a chocolate house to chocolate sculpting, chocolate facials, a dessert competition, chocolate decorating and painting.
Cadbury has announced Cure Kids and Parents Centre NZ as charities to benefit from the Cadbury Jaffa Race this year, with the organisations hoping to raise $25,000 each.
The carnival will also include an African feast to celebrate Fair Trade, with Ghanaian-born chef Hudu Alhassan joining Mr Coughlin for the event. United Kingdom-based food artist Prudence Staite will mould chocolate sculptures at the Meridian mall.
A pool party at Moana Pool will feature chocolate fish, chocolate hot cakes and chocolate milk, with proceeds going to Sara Cohen School.
Cadbury Couture will include wearable art creations to be displayed on a runway at the Savoy.
