Cheers! Packed stadium for beer and food festival

Thousands of thirsty beer enthusiasts are escaping the cold and sampling Kiwi brews at the Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

The venue was packed this afternoon with 6200 ticket-holders trying beverages from Dunedin and beyond.

The festival is in its sixth year and has its largest range of drinks, with over 90 stallholders supplying more than 400 varieties of beer, cider, wine and spirits, as well as plenty of food.

Beer and food lovers will be entertained by musical talent at the Otago University Students' Association event, including headliners Bic Runga and Elemeno P.
