The inaugural Mosgiel Round Table charity car rally and drive-in movie night will be held next year, after organisers cancelled the event planned for earlier this month.
A lack of ticket sales combined with technical hiccups meant the fundraiser did not go ahead as planned at the Taieri Rugby Club on Saturday, September 7.
Profits from the event were to be donated to the Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter and St John.
Organisers said the car rally and drive-in movie night would be held once daylight saving had ended next year, when it was dark enough for an outdoor movie.
