Preparations are well under way for Anzac Day celebrations in Dunedin.
Convener Lox Kellas said planning had gone smoothly.
This year's programme would include the usual dawn service at the Cenotaph in Queen's Gardens, followed by services at Andersons Bay Cemetery and Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital.
The address at this year's dawn service would be delivered by the Defence Force director-general, reserve forces and youth development, Brigadier Sean Trengrove.
Major Peter Amyes, executive officer of the 4th Otago-Southland Battalion Group, would be this year's master of ceremonies.
Posy-making would take place on Sunday, April 22, at 9am at HMNZS Toroa in St Andrew St.
This year's posies would be a little different, said Mr Kellas, who is also the Portobello police constable.
They would be a sprig of rosemary (to signify remembrance) wrapped in red paper (to signify the poppy).
The usual Anzac Day services will also be held on the Taieri, including in Mosgiel.
Final details of services will be published in the ODT before April 25.
