Thieves made off with several bottles of alcohol from Thirsty Liquor, Green Island, in what police are describing as a "smash and grab''.
Two men allegedly smashed two different holes in windows of the building and stole three bottles of Coruba rum and several bottles of Jagermeister.
Senior Sergeant Liz Waru, of Dunedin, said there was CCTV footage of the men and police were investigating.
The offence took place between 9pm on Wednesday and 2.25am on Thursday.
Five thousand dollars worth of skiing equipment was taken from a George St property about 7.45am on Thursday.
Snr Sgt Waru said the residents went to bed before midnight on Wednesday and woke the following morning to find the front door and cupboards in the residence open.
A $500 skateboard was also stolen, she said.
Two hundred and eighty dollars was taken from a locked vehicle in Balmacewen Rd on Thursday.
Snr Sgt Waru said the car was parked on the street and items, including the money, were taken from the front seat.
There was no indication of how the vehicle was entered.
