Addressing environmental issues

Capital Kiwi Project founder Paul Ward speaks at the Predator Free Dunedin Winter Speaker Series at Tūhura Otago Museum yesterday.

It was the last of three sessions in the series where panel discussions explored pivotal issues and research impacting the local environment.

Mr Ward was joined on the panel by Te Runaka ō Ōtakou member Tumai Cassidy, Orokonui Ecosanctuary environmental educator Taylor Davies-Colley, Prof Phil Seddon of the University of Otago’s department of zoology and Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research researcher Jo Carpenter. They discussed re-introducing taoka species to Dunedin.
