A forestry worker was in a serious condition in Dunedin Hospital last night following a crash on a Mt Allan forestry road yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene, about 20km from Mosgiel, at 4.20pm after a 4WD vehicle left the road and rolled 40m down a bank.
Senior Sergeant Dave Scott, of Dunedin, said four men, all forestry workers, were in the vehicle.
A St John spokeswoman said a man in his early 20s was seriously injured and was in the intensive care unit at Dunedin Hospital last night.
He was flown to Dunedin Hospital by the Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter.
Two others - a passenger with moderate injuries and the driver with minor injuries - were taken to hospital by ambulance, she said.
The serious crash unit is investigating the crash.
