Fourteen submissions have been received on the Dunedin City Council's draft responsible camping policy, which will ease restrictions on freedom camping.
Submitters included national organisations as well as Dunedin groups and individuals, DCC reserves policy and planning officer Paula Dickel said.
''It's a really good range.''
Most submitters wanted to speak to their submissions at a hearing, scheduled to begin on August 5.
The submissions would be included within a report made public in the week before the hearing, Ms Dickel said.
