OurSight, a collective of 11 southern photographers and film-makers, have wide-ranging viewpoints of the world and create hugely varied photographic images, which will be on display in group exhibition "Boundless".
The "Boundless" exhibition will run from September 12-20 at Dunedin Community Gallery, 26 Princes St.
Group member Henrik Moller said the exhibition was titled "Boundless" to reflect the "seemingly limitless imagination, experimentation and creative exploration" of the OurSight group members. They are also members of the Dunedin Photographic Society.
Alongside the exhibition, several OurSight group members will lead workshops and tutorials about photography and processing digital image files, including using the imaging software Affinity Photo. Most workshops will be held over the weekend of September 16-17.
Group member Henrik Moller said the photographers were hoping to connect with a broad range of people through the workshops, including schools, community groups, older people, and former refugees.
"We really want the workshops to be a chance for everyone to participate, and to learn how they can enjoy photography as well," he said.
"Most of our group members are older and have eased out of work, and are finding photography a very creative and enlivening thing to do.
"It’s something that doesn’t require flash cameras or expensive software to be great fun."
