Winners of the Otago University Students' Association (OUSA) by-election are excited about reporting for duty on campus this morning.
Almost 2000 votes were cast by students for their preferred representatives to fill four vacant positions.
Voting closed at 4pm yesterday and OUSA president Logan Edgar said he expected big things from his newest team members.
Elected administrative vice-president Jonathon Rowe, who is also on the University Council alongside Mr Edgar, said having both roles would be beneficial.
"I'm absolutely rapt. It will help with the council because I'll be plugged into the issues that OUSA is facing," he said.
New colleges officer Juana Diesing wants to bring together those in faculty residences as well as students privately flatting in Dunedin.
Ding (Yi) Ding was elected international students officer.
A lack of candidates at the OUSA elections last October forced the student body to hold a second set of elections to fill its executive committee for 2012.
