Cooke Howlison Toyota is very proud to have now opened its new state-of the-art showroom, which encompasses Toyota’s very latest international brand standards.
Completed over 18 months of major disruption, they are very grateful for the patience and loyalty of their customers, and the high standards of the many trades involved.
Toyota is the dominant force in the vehicle market, with approximately a quarter of all cars in New Zealand being a Toyota — close to one million vehicles!
The values of Toyota and Cooke Howlison are very much aligned: a proud history, future focused, strong community involvement, and outstanding customer service.
Cooke Howlison is part of the dynamic Oakwood Motor Group, which encompasses 11 dealerships in Otago and Canterbury, employing 367 staff, and selling approximately 5000 vehicles a year.
Cooke Howlison was founded in 1895, and purchased the Toyota business in 1989. They have a great staff team, with quite a few having been there for over 30 years — so you will always see a familiar face when you visit the new facilities.
This experience is also repeated in the service, parts, used vehicle sales, and grooming departments.
The building is built to a very high standard, incorporating the highest efficiency and earthquake
standards. Cooke Howlison Toyota will be proud to show you around the new showroom, and the great range of efficient new Toyotas on display.
Cooke Howlison and the Community:
Cooke Howlison is very engaged with the community, and it offers considerable support to a range of fantastic charities and community groups, including: Otago Community Hospice, Cancer Society, Sophie Elliot Foundation, Women’s Refuge, Orokonui Ecosanctuary, Alzheimers Society, Dunedin Netball; plus the numerous schools, sports teams, church groups, and community organisations who utilise the free Community Hiace Minibus.
Staff are also heavily involved in the running of the Santa Parade and participate in the annual Christmas Can appeal.
Proud to show off state-of-the-art showroom. . .
