Mosgiel Mobile Denture Clinic offers a service that can come to you, from the initial consultation through to the final appointment. We also have access to a clinic in the Mosgiel Dental Centre on Factory Rd which can be used for some (or all) appointments.
The Mosgiel Mobile Denture Clinic is a locally owned and operated business, providing all denture services to Mosgiel and the wider Dunedin area. Appointments available for further afield, including Milton, however additional travel costs will apply.
Owner Justin Jordaan is a Clinical Dental Technician who graduated from the University of Otago with his bachelor’s degree in Dental Technology and Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Dental Technology.
The Mosgiel Mobile Denture Clinic offers everything relating to full and partial dentures, including complete fabrication, relines, repairs, and tooth additions, as well as professional cleans and custom mouthguards.
For appointments out of the clinic it will be ideal to have a comfortable chair for the patient to sit in that also allows the clinician to move around freely, and access to boiling water for certain appointments. Everything else for the appointments will be brought with the clinician making visits convenient and stress free.
The initial appointment will go through all the different options regarding proper treatment as well as appropriate paperwork. The following appointments will involve impressions being taken, bite registration for denture set ups (full and partial), denture try in (mock up) where the patient can see how the final outcome will look and gives them a chance to change any aspect to the final delivery.
Operating hours are Wednesday to Friday 8.30am-6.30pm, and Saturday 8.30am-12pm. Emergency after hours appointments are also offered (for an additional fee). Consultations are free and any insurance/WINZ claims are accepted.
