After the success of their self-titled HBO TV series, Flight of the Conchords have sold out tours across the United States and Europe, performing at venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, New York's Radio City Music Hall and London's Wembley Arena.
They are bringing the live show back home with an extensive tour of New Zealand, which includes dates at the Regent Theatre in Dunedin (June 23) and the Queenstown Events Centre (June 24).
"It's going to be great to play New Zealand again," Academy Award-winner Bret McKenzie said.
"I can't wait to perform where people can understand our accents."
Fellow Conchord Jemaine Clement said he was looking forward to the tour because "it's a lot more convenient than going to another country, isn't it?".
The duo's TV show was originally turned down for screening on TVNZ, but American cable network HBO picked them up.
Since then, they have won a Grammy Award, been nominated for Emmy Awards, appeared as cartoon characters on The Simpsons and performed on The Late Show with David Letterman.
