Miranda Kerr in brace after LA crash

Miranda Kerr was involved in a serious car accident in Los Angeles on Monday and had to be rushed to hospital, according to Fairfax websites.

Kerr's spokeswoman Annie Kelly told Fairfax the Australian supermodel is wearing a neck brace and had MRI scans following the accident on Monday, when another car rammed hers on an LA freeway.

The websites report the driver of the other car was arrested and is likely to face charges.

Kelly says Kerr was thankful her son, Flynn, was not in the car at the time.

"She is in a lot of pain but really, we are just glad that it was not more serious," she says.

Kerr is next due to return to Australia to unveil the new Qantas uniforms, designed by Melbourne-born, Paris-based designer Martin Grant.
