Jazz vocalist Karin Reid and guitarist Alex Wolken give a repeat presentation of their original music, improvisations and explorations of modern jazz classics this weekend.

The Dunedin duo announced in a press release they would perform their "Uneasy Ground" show this Saturday from 6.30pm at Trident House, 88 Vogel St.

Reid and Wolken have worked together since late 2019, honing a distinctive sound that blends the influence of modal jazz and avant-leaning harmony with moody atmospheres, textures and minimal grooves into a unique and contemporary sonic world.

If you missed their show in October, due to the rain event, join them in the unique and intimate Trident House venue — formerly the Tapley Swift shipping company by the Vogel St overbridge — for an up-close and personal, informal concert.
