Dream South D is hosting Halloween Fright Night on Ice at the Dunedin Ice Stadium, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Saturday, November 2.
Dream South D manager Nikita Choveaux said the group was delighted to bring a unique Halloween experience to the community.
Entry to the Fright Night is free, with a nominal fee of $3 for skate hire.
Attendees can enjoy a photo booth to capture their haunting costumes, and spot prizes will be awarded for the most creative and spooky outfits.
The event was inspired by community feedback highlighting a need for more youth-focused activities in the area.
The concept of hosting the event at the ice rink emerged from discussions with local youth workers and groups based in South Dunedin.
"We think it should be a pretty fun event. We are looking forward to dressing up," she said.
