The Dunedin City Council’s Save Our Southern Hospital campaign will get back into gear with a convoy led by "Cliff" the ambulance.
Members of the public are invited to meet at Forbury Park at 10.30am tomorrow to ride or drive their cars or motorcycles in support of the campaign.
Six vintage buses, two vintage fire engines, a tractor, an ATV, council trucks as well as vintage cars and motorcycles are anticipated to line up behind "Cliff" on a route travelling along Hillside Rd, Orari St, Portsmouth Dr, Wharf St, Jetty St, Thomas Burns St, St Andrews St, Anzac Ave and Albany St, before travelling along George St to arrive in the Octagon.
A Dunedin City Council spokesperson said all vehicles taking part were encouraged to make as much noise as possible in the Octagon, to make it clear the South would not be silenced and it was not "taking our foot off the gas" in the Save Our Southern Hospital campaign.
"Members of the public are also encouraged to come along, wearing a campaign T-shirt and waving signs if possible, and give the convoy a wave or a toot."
