Entrepreneur to discuss ‘How to build connections’

High-flying Kiwi entrepreneur Casey Davies-Bell will be guest speaker at the Dunedin TimeBank annual meeting and potluck gathering on Tuesday.

The founder of Amplifier, a virtual event platform for communities to build their member relationships, will discuss "How to build connections" at the event, to be held next Tuesday, July 19, from 5.30pm at St Peter’s Church hall, at the corner Hillside Rd and Baker St.

Mr Davies-Bell spent six years immersed in the New Zealand start-up scene, co-founding two start-ups and helping build the Dunedin start-up ecosystem during a three-year tenure as community manager at Startup Dunedin.

He is passionate about empowering other founders and high-growth start-ups.

Dunedin TimeBank is all about nurturing volunteering in the local community, connecting people’s needs with other people’s talents and helping people support each other without exchanging money for their time.

All are welcome to the event on Tuesday. For more information email dunedintimebank@gmail.com
