The half marathon recreation walk was won by two Dunedin athletes — Alex Brown at 2hr 02min in the men’s category and Lara Findlater at 2hr 40min in the women’s category.

Dunedin athletes also took first place in the 10km run with women’s winner Sophie Hicks at 36min 59sec and men’s winner Reuben Beard at 32min 34sec.
