A Mosgiel accounting company knows every dollar counts.

Target Accounting Mosgiel grabbed $10 from the Taieri Times 10 fundraiser to market its garage sale on Saturday.

The Taieri Communities Facility Trust has offered 500 $10 notes to people, with the proviso the money is multiplied and returned to the trust by December 1.

Owner and accountant Justin Stent said the ``brainchild'' behind the sale was office manager Tania Outram.

Mrs Outram said she hoped the sale, between 11am and 2pm at 7 Gladstone Rd South, next to Z service station, would be well attended.

``I want a pool - whatever it takes,'' Mrs Outram said.

Mr Stent said if the weather allowed, a barbecue would be held at the sale.

The goods donated by staff for the sale include appliances, bar stools, a bike, books, crockery and toys.

Mr Stent said the business was always looking for ways to get behind the Mosgiel community.

``What you give to the community seems to come back.''
