Prediction: England 27-24.

Reason: More of a niggly feeling than an educated guess. Seems to me England are in good nick, while the All Blacks might be a tad rusty and not quite ready to unleash a plan cooked up by the new coaching team.

Prediction: All Blacks 30-18.

Reason: A lot of new faces in both teams, but Scott Robertson seems to get the best out of his players. The Crusaders were invincible during his tenure.

Prediction: All Blacks 27-23.

Reason: I think it will be a closer game than people would usually assume. England have the benefit of having been together for a while, dispatched Japan easily and have named a relatively experienced team. The All Blacks could take a while to settle with new combinations, and key men have moved on post World Cup. Depth in the locks remains a concern.

Prediction: All Blacks 32-21.

Reason: England have beaten Japan on the way here and have a blend of old stagers and youth. They deserve to go in as favourites because they’ve had time in the saddle, whereas the All Blacks have trained together for 7-8 days. But I have a feeling the All Blacks will be doing it to impress the new coaching group, so may just get up late.

Prediction: All Blacks 21-18.

Reason: England will be buoyed by dispatching Japan and look to have a certain hard edge in the pack. They will push the new-look All Blacks, who will take some time to gel with their combinations, while there are question marks over the fitness of both senior locks.
