A long holiday weekend in New Zealand looms. But for 23 New Zealanders holed up in London, now's not the time to put the feet up -they have a job to do.

Namely, get out at 4am tomorrow (NZ time) and beat the men in green.

The All Blacks go into tomorrow morning's Rugby World Cup semifinal against the Springboks with plenty of confidence.

Coming off a record win over France, the team appears to be peaking nicely in its pursuit of the sport's biggest crown.

It will also be captain's Richie McCaw's 12th test as captain at a World Cup - a record.

The side will also be safe in the knowledge it has the support back home, no matter the hour.

Yes, let's be honest. It can be tough getting up in the small hours.

But remember a World Cup semifinal - which will be live on Sky and Prime TV - only comes round every four years.

One early rising in 1461 days. Surely not too much to ask.

Plus most do not have to go to work on Monday.

That leaves plenty of timefor victory drinks.

Or - whisper it very, very quietly - to drown those sorrows.
