Alhambra-Union dominated all facets of play to run away with a 10-try win over Green Island at Miller Park.
The platform for Alhambra-Union's dominance was established in the opening minutes by the forwards, led by props Liam Coltman and Dane Maraki, with some excellent covering work by the loose forward trio of Matthew Kissick, Wahari Waitohi and Ryan Bowater.

Alhambra-Union's only blemish was in the second quarter when, ahead 18-0, it allowed Green Island to regroup and keep it scoreless for the rest of the first half.
But the floodgates opened and Alhambra-Union ran in eight superb second-half tries, three of which were scored by Kinikinilau in the final 10 minutes.
Green Island captain Jason Binty tried hard in the loose and lock Brendon Hollows made some crucial calls at line-out time.
Alhambra-Union 66 (Paula Kinikinilau 3, Peter Breen 2, Dane Maraki, Robbie Breen, Jarid Bradley, Jone Paumau, Tim Bryson tries; Luke Reihana 5 conversions, 2 penalty goals), Green Island 3 (Shane McNoe penalty goal).
