The Otago union announced yesterday it had re-signed winger Jona Nareki, utility back Vilimoni Koroi and first five-eighth Josh Ioane until 2020.
The players have all come through the age-grade system and played well for Otago this year.
Ioane (23) was a calm and measured performer in the No 10 jersey and scored the match-winning penalty in the Mitre 10 Cup Championship semifinal against Hawke's Bay.
Nareki (20) has been a constant danger on the wing for Otago for the past couple of years and has scored 15 tries in 18 games for the province since making his debut last year.
Koroi (20) is a sevens star and was one of the main players in the New Zealand colts team this year. He can play many positions in the backline.
Otago coach Ben Herring said the signings were "fantastic" for Otago rugby.
"These three are Otago players of the future. With Jona named as the 2018 season MVP, Vilimoni a current NZ sevens star and Josh selected in the upcoming NZ Maori tour, it really shows the calibre of player these guys are.''
