The beer was flowing inside Otago's changing room as the side celebrated a famous Ranfurly Shield win over Waikato with euphoric song and dance.
Our reporter Steve Hepburn, who is up in Hamilton for the game, was lucky enough to make it inside the changing room and saw the team celebrate.
The celebration came after the team beat Waikato 23-19 in a gutsy effort which went right down to the wire.
The union will now hold the prized log ‘o’ wood over the summer with a gutsy win over Waikato.
